De Amnesty Studentengroep is een internationale groep bestaande uit studenten van de Rijksuniversiteit en Hanze.  De gesproken taal binnen deze groep is Engels en elk jaar komen er nieuwe leden bij. De groep organiseert evenementen, filmvertoningen (Movies That Matter), lezingen, schrijfacties (Write For Rights), feestjes en andere projecten ter ondersteuning van het werk van Amnesty International. Ons belangrijkste doel is het vergroten van bewustzijn over mensenrechten bij andere studenten.

The Student Group is an international group thanks to the diverse population of the universities in Groningen – RUG and Hanze. The spoken language within this group is English and the members of the group are updated every year. The group organises events, movie screenings (Movies That Matter), lectures, letter writings (Write For Rights), parties, and other projects in support of human rights and values of Amnesty International. The main goal is to raise awareness about human rights among other students.
