Then join Amnesty International and the Kalliope University Debating Society on Thursday the 22nd of February at 8pm in the Harmony building, as they collaborate to debate topics such as: ‘Governments should have the right to spy on innocent people in order to guard national security’ and ‘Functioning head of states should always be granted immunity’. Get tips for debating from the members of Kalliope, so that you can learn to effectively getting your point across, an invaluable skill defending human rights!

In order to celebrate the International Women’s rights day, Amnesty International Student Group is inviting all fellow feminists and supporters to a pub quiz at The Crown.
Do you want to know which country was the first to allow women to vote or who Aletta Jacobs was? Do you want to fight patriarchy by enriching your knowledge? De jaarlijkse collecteweek van Amnesty International waarin er door het hele land geld wordt ingezameld.
Tijdens de KEI-week zal Amnesty aanwezig zijn op de Vismarkt. Er zal actie worden gevoerd en promotie worden gemaakt over de mogelijkheden voor activisme in de stad.
Door het schrijven van brieven en kaarten wordt opgekomen voor mensen die zijn gemarteld om wat ze geloven, die gediscrimineerd worden om wie ze zijn, die gedwongen werden te trouwen of vastgezet werden omdat ze voor hun mening uitkwamen.
